Here's what I did and I'm only mimimally satisfied. I bought Suzuki's engine gaurd and attached foot pegs to it. Between the gaurd and the pegs I have over $80 invested. This allowed me to change the position of my feet about 2 inches - not worth doing. I then bought some long length U bolts from Home Depot and fashioned some shims with aluminum tube and washers. That extended my feet about another 3 or 4 inches. It does help, especially when riding 2 up, but if I was doing it again, I'd look for a better solution. I'm 5' 10". A couple of months ago Bryan posted about some highway bars he either manufactured or modified along with some aluminum billets for extended mounting if I remember correctly. Check that out.
